Retro Gorgeous At Forever 21.

I have been haunting Forever 21's website recently because things can be interesting and inexpensive there.

Today, this dress caught my eye on the website:

I had a moment where Gollum from LOTR's voice said, "My Precioussssssss!" in my head as I looked at it. The problem? I am tall (5'9") and slim so size small would fit my curves but not my height. Size medium would be too baggy. So, I am holding off on buying it because of this, and the fact i have nowhere to wear this dress at the moment to justify the buying it.

It is so pretty though. It just makes me sigh and wish that I could get it and have it fit right.

Someone buy it (or try it on) and tell me how it fits! I am curious to know the fit of this dress and the nearest Forever 21 is 45 minutes drive from my home.

When My Friend, Need, Keeps Poking Me.

I seriously think I need this top:

Above: Ruffle Tier Tunic at Forever 21

The little voice in my head I call "Need" keeps poking me that I should buy this pretty, shiny, pink, tunic before it sells out despite the fact I have told myself "No new purchases until I have money coming in more smoothly than I do now."

Need keeps telling me, whispering in my ear even, that I could wear it out on yet unscheduled dates that may, or my not happen, or to night's out when I travel to San Diego. Need tells me that I have things in my wardrobe that go with the top and that I can wear with it.

I try and tell Need that I cannot afford even this top at the moment and he whispers, "You own a credit card. Use it." Yes, Need is very sneaky like that, always trying to find a way around my "no."

Will I give in or just sit and wait for the tunic to sell out so I can lament how I should have bought the top before it sold out? Only time will tell but right now, I have that internal argument with my friend Need and hope that I can wrestle him into submission.

Buried in the world of photo editing.

As the title of this blog implies, I am currently buried in the world of photo editing. I need to get done with the editing of the two shoots I did last week. After I complete that, I can pick out one or two photos form each shoot I have done and re-edit them to my liking for colour saturation and look I desire. Then I will submit them to my friend to see what he thinks. Then I cross my fingers and hope for the best that the project will be green lit.

Yes, all vague and not telling much about it. I don't want to talk it up too much and then have nothing come of it...at least in this form.

I am seeing a lot of things that catch my eye while out and about taking photos of models. I tend to take snapshots of the thins that catch my eye.  I think I will share some of them with you so that you can have a tiny view into what I see around me here in Spokane, Washington.

I am enjoying getting out of the house and hope to take more photos of random things as I continue to do photo shoots with my models. I also have a 'fun day out with cameras' planned with a photographer friend where much snapping of random photos will happen. I will try and share some of those photos as well when it happens.

Now, I should really get back to editing the photo shoot photos...or head to bed. Whichever calls most strongly to me in the next half hour.

Time To Change Those Depends.

Nothing says "I took a dump in an adult diaper and need it changed" like these pants do:

Seriously, how is this look attractive? I just don't get it.

Furry Feet? They Can Be Fun!

I know a lot of people reading this blog will instantly have that "I hate it!' reflex on viewing the sandals I am posting here.

I, on the other hand, see them and think, "How fun!" I love the mixture of the shearling, tan leather of the footbed, and black leather in the sandal.

Above: backview of sandals

I would wear them and people would think it "weird" and probablyly giggle about them as I wore them around. I figure, who cares? I mean it is all about what I find interesting when it comes to what I would, and do, wear. I would wear these sandals proudly, if I had the $950 to spend on them.

I just find the sandals fascinating and interesting to look at. It is a beautiful design even if not practical.

Sneak Peek From Ongoing Project

3 photo shoots down, two to go!

At least in this wave of shoots for the project I am working on. I am still lining up photo shoots and it is an ongoing project so I will be doing many shoots in the future for it.

A quick taste of the results of one of the photo shoots:

I am madly editing still and will have more to edit after tomorrow's photo shoot. I am getting some great images and hope that they will work for the project. I am so enjoying being super busy doing what I love to do...taking photos.

Off to head to bed since I have a shoot on this afternoon!

I have started an ongoing project with my photography that I am super excited about. I had my first photo shoot on Thursday and have on tomorrow. I have more booked this week. I can not wait!

I am just so excited and will be working on this steadily with hopes it pans out and also brings me more business. I will be keeping everyone posted on my progress.
