I thought the fugly stopped there until I looked around on that site a bit more...and found these:

I cringed in horror at the awful glasses that were stupid the first time around and now being offered for $18.00.

Even worse are these:

They glow in the dark!

Fugly and tacky hooked up, then produced these glasses as offspring!

Just say no to tacky, stupid, fugly, 80s fad fashion people.

Hedgehogs Are Cute.

I was looking at Bombalurina today to see if the site had any new jewelry and found this cute, beyond cute, silver necklace:

Woven Shoes Anyone?

I was looking around online this evening and came across some very strange, yet intriguing, shoes:

I am liking the woven look of them even if they are rather strange looking.

Yes, you read that right and are not seeing things. It's crude, naughty, and, well, funny as hell. I had a good giggle over it today when it showed up in my "Stuff You Will Love" at stylefeeder.com. Sadly, I do not love it but it does make me smile.

It is just what I would expect from the ever funky/naughty Vivienne Westwood whom I love a lot but also have to shake my head at how much she pushes the envelope of fashion.

It made my day to come across this because I badly needed a laugh.

Got My Nylon.

Now, I know lots of fashionistas are so over Nylon Magazine. They say it isn't as good as it used to be and that it isn't worth the money anymore.

As for me...I had never heard of it until they started talking about it and posting clothing from photo shoots for it. I checked bookstores and other places that sell magazines for it in my small city and have NEVER seen it for sale anywhere here.

So, what is a girl to do when she is curious about what the fuss is about, cannot find the magazine in stores, and finds it only cost $9.99 to get a subscription?

She subscribes.

It's not like it will "break the bank" since the subscription is so cheap.

I got my first issue today and will be looking through it and seeing what all the fuss is about.

So far, it looks like it is trying to be a indie version of Jane Magazine back when Jane was cool, and didn't go out of business.

The verdict is still out however.
